About LAN.events

Ticketing built for LANs and small gaming organizations.

Our story

LAN.events was started in 2025 as a hobby project by Matt Ouille to address the lack of a fairly priced ticketing platform for gaming events. It took heavy inspiration from LANReg.org, which set the bar for user-centered online seating charts and features built around the way small, gaming-oriented organizations operate and do business.

Today we continue that focus: transparent pricing, tools that match how organizers actually run events, and a platform that stays out of the way so attendees and organizers can focus on the event.

What we do

LAN.events is a ticketing and registration platform designed for LAN parties, esports events, and other gaming gatherings. We provide:

  • Online seating charts — Pick-your-seat or general admission, with drag-and-drop setup and a layout that works for real venues.
  • Fair, transparent pricing — Tiered per-ticket fees by event size, no percentage-of-ticket markup, so you can set your own ticket prices and know your costs up front.
  • Features built for gaming orgs — Groups and team seating, waivers, early registration links, check-in, and workflows that fit how small organizations run events.

Whether you run a local LAN, a regional tournament, or a larger gaming event, the platform scales with you without locking you into enterprise pricing or opaque fees.

Fair pricing

We believe organizers should keep more of what they earn. Our platform fees are tiered by event capacity (e.g. free for the smallest events, a fixed per-ticket fee for larger ones) with no percentage cut of ticket sales. You set your prices; we charge a predictable fee so you can plan and communicate costs clearly to your community.
